Terms and conditions – Individual and group lessons in L’Aquila

1. Registration and payment.

1.1. In order to register for the Italian lessons in L’Aquila, the participant must fill in the form in the website, pay the cost of the Italian classes and accept the terms and conditions.

1.2. The cost includes the Italian lessons taught by Daniela Gentile.

1.3. Daniela Gentile does not provide any service other than the Italian lessons. All the other arrangements (for example, for accomodation, restaurants, transportation, etc.) need to be made and paid by the participants themselves. The related costs are not included in the course fee.

2. Cancellation policy

2.1. The participant who cancels his/her registration with a written communication up to 15 days prior to the starting of the lessons is eligible to a 100% refund of the cost of the language lessons.

2.2 The participant who cancels his/her registration with a written communication in a period between 14 and 7 days prior to the starting of the lessons is eligible to a 50% refund of the cost of the language lessons. 

2.3. No refund will be issued for cancellations received less than 6 days prior to the starting of the lessons.

2.4. Missed lessons will not be refunded or rescheduled.

2.5. In the event of force majeure, Daniela Gentile will be not compelled to provide her service. Causes of force majeure are any events, circumstances or calamity out of the control of Daniela Gentile which prevent her from providing her services.

2.6. If for any reason the lessons are cancelled by Daniela Gentile, the cost of the lessons will be refunded to the participant.

3. Liability and insurance

3.1. During the lessons the participant is liable, both directly and indirectly, for his or her damage caused to other individuals or to themselves or to goods, properties and buildings of both Daniela Gentile and others; even if there is no intent.

3.2. Daniela Gentile is not liable for any accident, loss, theft or damage to property, goods and money or damage to persons, for whatever reason, directly or indirectly, during the period of the Italian lessons.

3.3. Participants commit to taking out liability insurance, travel insurance and health insurance covering any possible medical costs, valid in Italy over the entire duration of the lessons.

4. COVID-19 special terms and conditions

4.1. For the safety of everyone, in order to participate in the lessons, participants need to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Participants will be asked for proof of vaccination on the first day of lesson.

4.2. If the local rules and/or the situation will require it, during the indoor lessons both Daniela Gentile and the participants will need to wear a face mask.

5. Complaints policy

5.1. Complaints must be made exclusively within the duration of the lessons to which the complaint refers. Any complaint received after that period will be not dealt with.

6. Authorization to use personal data & Privacy Policy

6.1. The participant gives permission to Daniela Gentile for the processing and use of his/her personal data related to and needed for the setting up of the Italian lessons, according to the applicable law.

6.2 The participant agrees with the Privacy Policy that can be found on this website.

7. Authorization to use photos and videos

7.1. The participant gives permission to Daniela Gentile for the processing and use of photos and videos possibly taken during the lessons for promotion purposes on the business social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram), on the website and on flyers of Daniela Gentile.
