Terms and conditions – Italian Immersion Program
1. Registration and payment.
1.1 The Italian Immersion Program fee includes the Italians lessons taught by Daniela Gentile, the teaching material and a welcome aperitif. Everything else is considered “Extra cost” and has to be paid independently and separately to the provider of the service.
1.2. The Italian Immersion Program fee does NOT include:
– transportation tickets
– hotel accommodation
– breakfast/lunch/dinner bills
– travel, liability, health insurance
– professional tour guide
– anything not explicitly mentioned at point 1.4.
1.3. The minimum number of participants for the Italian Immersion Program to start is 5. Daniela Gentile will notify the potential participants via e-mail when the minimum number of registrations has been reached.
2. Language (Italian) level
2.1. Participants are aware that the average Italian level of classes taught during the Italian Immersion Program will be the average level of the class. The minimum level suggested to enjoy the week is final A1 (CEFR – Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
3. Cancellation policy
3.1. The participant who cancels his/her registration up to 60 days prior to the starting of the Italian Immersion Program is eligible to a 50% refund of the cost of the language lessons. 3.2. No refund will be issued for cancellations received less than 60 days prior to the Italian Immersion Program starting date.
3.3. If for any reason the Italian Immersion Program is cancelled by Daniela Gentile, e.g. due to insufficient participants, the Italian Immersion Program registration fee (450 €) will be refunded to the participant.
4. Liability and insurance
4.1. Daniela Gentile is not responsible for any failures or delay in the delivery of services by the providers that Daniela Gentile has possibly suggested to the participants.
4.2. Daniela Gentile is not responsible for any failure or delay of the services provided by her which are caused by failures of third parties or events out of the control of Daniela Gentile.
4.3. During the period of the Italian Immersion Program the participant is liable, both directly and indirectly, for his or her damage caused to other individuals or to themselves or to goods, properties and buildings of both Daniela Gentile and others; even if there is no intent.
4.4. Daniela Gentile is not liable for any accident, loss, theft or damage to property, goods and money or damage to persons, for whatever reason, directly or indirectly, during the period of the Italian Immersion Program.
4.5. Participants commit to taking out liability insurance, travel insurance and health insurance covering any possible medical costs, valid in Italy over the entire duration of the Italian Immersion Program.
4.6. In the event of force majeure, Daniela Gentile will be no compelled to provide its service. Causes of force majeure are any events, circumstances or calamity out of the control of Daniela Gentile which prevent her from providing her services.
5. COVID-19 special terms and conditions
5.1. For the safety of everyone, in order to participate in the Italian Immersion Program participants need to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Participants will be asked for proof of vaccination the first day of the lesson.
5.2. If the situation requires it, during the indoor lessons both Daniela Gentile and the participants will need to wear a face mask.
5.3. The terms and conditions for the extra activities (transportation, tour guide, workshops, restaurants, etc.) will depend on the provider of each service.
6. Complaints policy
6.1. Complaints must be made exclusively within the duration of the Italian Immersion Program to which the complaint refers. Any complaint received after that period will be not dealt with.
7. Authorization to use personal data & Privacy Policy
7.1. The participant gives permission to Daniela Gentile for the processing and use of his/her personal data related to and needed for the setting up of the Italian Immersion Program, according to the applicable law.
7.2 The participant agrees with the Privacy Policy of Daniela Gentile which can be read on the website: www.gentilmenteschool.com
8. Authorization to use photos and videos
8.1. The participant gives permission to Daniela Gentile for the processing and use of photos and videos taken during the Italian Immersion Program for promotion purposes on the business social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram), on the website and on flyers of Daniela Gentile.
